DAV Public School Ratia was set up as a branch of DAV Public School Fatehabad in 1995 in a small rented building to fulfill the educational aspirations of the people of Ratia. It moved to its new campus as independent school in year 2007 which is located on the outskirts of Ratia in the lush green surroundings. The bud which bloomed with merely 50 students and a little potential is now spreading its fragrance in the whole area with student strength of 2200. It has emerged as a high quality educational landmark in the area. The school in its pursuit for excellence has maintained high standards in terms of teaching faculty, infrastructure, and other related determinants of quality.

The school is co-educational and affiliated to CBSE New Delhi up to class 12. The medium of instruction is English but equal importance is given to Hindi, Sanskrit and Punjabi.
