Sant Nischal Singh public School, an institute dedicated to the cause of education was established in the sacred memory of Sant Pandit Nischal Singh Ji Maharaj.  Sant ji had a firm belief that social upliftment can only be possible through education. So, he always laid stress on education as service to humanity. It was his long cherished dream to open a public school of repute which would impart education not only on modern techniques but where ethical, mental, physical and spiritual values are also taken care of

 A concrete shape was given to his dream by the trust formed in his name under the able guidance and leadership of Dr. Waryam Singh ji and thus with his untiring and unstinted efforts Sant Nischal Singh Public School came into existence in 1979 in a make shift arrangement in Guru Nanak High School with 248 students on roll. The school which started with a modest beginning has now risen to the heights of success and glory. The school sprawling over an area of 17.5 acres with more than 1 lakh sq. ft. Constructed area provides to its students the most modernized infrastructure and teaching and learning facilities. Today the school has more than 2600 students on rolls with 150 highly qualified, experienced and dedicated team of faculty members, thereby making it as 1:20 teacher- student ratio. The buildings include a round shape double storey junior wing with digital classrooms, a rectangular, triple storey senior wing with well equipped HI ? Tech Science, Maths, computer labs., a multi purpose activity hall, a spacious  dance and music room and a new canteen has also been incorporated . A latest designed play group provides a conducive atmosphere for the over all development and growth of the tiny tots, The children are nurtured with love and care laying emphasis on play ? way methods of learning. Hygienic food is served to them, thereby teaching them table manners. Door to door conveyance is also provided. SNSPS  is the first school in the vicinity and second in the state to be accredited with ISO-9001-2000 certification.
