DESCRIPTION :

The building of Kendriya Vidyalaya Chopan constructed by the Uttar Pradesh Samaj Kalyan Nirman Nigam Ltd. is situated near the E.C.Railway Hospital , Chopan. It is running with class XII Science in one section since 2005. The building is equipped with 14 class rooms , 3 Labs in Physics, Chemistry & Biology . It has separate games rooms , activities rooms, staff room , examination room , office , computer room , SUPW room , Junior Sc. Lab , Math Lab & Medical room etc. The great achievement of the Vidyalaya is that 20 computers have been installed in the A.C. room . The playground of the School is being developed for games and sports facilities as it was full of bushes and stones. The land of the Vidyalaya is13.45acre. It has been handed over to the Vidyalaya from EC Railway Dhanbad at Chopan for the leasedead for 99 years. Previously the Vidyalaya was running in the temporary building of EC Railway Chopan but now it is running in its newly constructed building of KVS.
