Sharada Niketan English Medium School, Baramati

DESCRIPTION :

In 1968 Mr. S.D Abnave & Mr. P.K Raut requested to MLA of Baramati Mr. Songaokar for the infrastructural arrangement in Baramati for to start a Ladies Hostel. Unfortunatly the donated land fall into litigation but Mr. S.D Abnave & P.T Raut fought this court case upto Supreme court & historical judgement was given by Suprme court in this case. MVSM spend nearly Rs.7.5 lakh to construct 9 room building on this site , the unfortunate litigations were still continued but finally in 2002 all litigations were finished . In 2003 Mr. Subhash Abnave took initiative to restart the activity at Baramati. Bapusahb Abnave & Vikas Abnave visited to the place & decision was taken to start a pre- primary & primary school in this infrastructure. Application was forwarded to State Govt. of Maharshtra to open the school upto 7th Std. MVSM received the permission in academic year 2004 & five classes of Pre primary and Std 1st to 3rd were started.
