Puneet Public School, Shahdara

It was in the year 1977-1978, Mr. Dhan Singh &Mrs. Vimla Devi, conceived of a long cherished dream to start a school in Vishwas Nagar. The dream turned in to reality when Puneet Public School (PPS) founded by Vimal Educational Welfare Society (Regd.) came in to existence as a primary school. In the year 1989, it was granted recognition up to middle class by Directorate of Education. Subsequently from the session 1991-1992, it was upgraded to secondary level by the Directorate of Education. Thus, PPS, which started its journey as an infant about more than three decades ago, has today emerged in a strong and grown up institution empowered by a strength of about more than thousand students, a team of qualified and dedicated teaching staff, with full infrastructural facilities backed by modern teaching tools and aids.
