DESCRIPTION :

Kendriya Vidyalaya Vikas Puri made a modest beginning from a humble initiative in 1986 in tents up to class V in 4.5 acres of land. Kendriya Vidyalaya Vikas Puri is civil sector school situated in Village Hastal in west Delhi District in state of Delhi.
In the beginning, it had only First Shift with the strength of students.

Since then, the school has grown into a beautiful 4-storeyed building with lush green sprawling grassy grounds, Eco gardens and bio-park. It caters to the needs of 2053 students in I shift running in 4 sections upto class XII with 2 sections for Science, 1 sections for Commerce & 1 section for Humanities streams.

Second shift is also operational for the past five years i.e. since 2004 .Now it has three sections up to class XI and XII running 1 sections for science stream , 1 section for commerce stream and 1 section for arts with strength of 1342 students.
