GAPS had its modest beginning in the year 1989 with a good strength of students, Due to the relentless work of the staff and students, It has made headway and since then it has never looked back. The first batch of 28 students in class XII(Commerce) shall be appearing for the board exam in 2011-12. The school has highly qualified & competent staff. It aims to prepare a child for real life situation. Here for physical development, outdoor & indoor activities form an integral part of the curriculum. Besides this, the school keeps a detailed check on the physical being of every student to ensure that they are energetic & active. For intellectual development, our well qualified teachers use educational aids & teaching tools to help the children exercise their mind in their day to day learning. For emotional development, children are encouraged to participate in group activities, projects & competitions. Educational tours & picnics are also organized time to time. This way, children work together, exchange ideas, make collective decision & above all grow together.

The school has maintained a low student-teacher ratio to ensure maximum individual attention. Students of middle classes are prepared in manner so that a sound of base is laid for secondary education. In senior department, the school offers commerce & Humanities streams at + 2 level.
