DAV Public School, Ashok Vihar is a co-educational senior secondary school established in 1991, functioned from rented building in Shastri Nagar. Today, spread over an area of about 1.5 acres in the heart of the city, Delhi.
The foundation stone of the school was laid by Late Sh. DarbariLalJi, the then president of DAVCMC & fortunately the foundation stone of building was laid by Sh. G.P. Chopra Ji , the then president of DAVCMC.
The school feels proud to acknowledge that from 5 staff members today it has increased to 121 staff members with approx. 2500 students.
The school functions under the guidance of the Chairman Dr.N.K.Uberoi , Vice Chairman Mrs Shashi PrabhaChandla& Manager Mrs Prem Lata Garg. Their selfless work along with that of other members needs no testimony.
DAV Public School, Ashok Vihar offer courses in Humanities, Commerce & Science. It prepares students for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
