Dr. Gokaraju Ganga Raju is an eminent educationist, philanthropist and social engineer. A born leader and optimist, he is known for his dynamism, quick thinking and decision making skills and for his compassion and empathy. He leads by example and believes in the Gandhian credo, ?Be the change you wish to see in this world.?

Discerning the need for quality education, Dr. Ganga Raju established the Gokaraju Ranga Raju Educational Society (GRES) in 1997, in memory of his father, the Late Sri Gokaraju Ranga Raju garu. Under its aegis, he started the Gokaraju Ranga Raju Institute of Engineering and Technology(GRIET) in the same year, followed by the Gokaraju Ranga Raju College of Pharmacy(GRCP) in 2003. Both these institutions have raised the bar in technical education and pharmaceutical training respectively.

Mulling at great length over the standards of school education, Dr Ganga Raju felt the need, once again ? this time in the field of primary and secondary education ? for excellence in this sector and thus was born, ?Ganges Valley School?, in 2012. Affiliated to the CBSE, the School, in its pursuit of excellence, seeks to provide an ambience to its students that will inculcate in them an ?international? outlook, while taking pride in their nationality. Further, the School strives to create, foster and nurture in the Ganges Community ? students, staff and parents alike ? a culture of learning that inspires them to explore with an indomitable spirit of adventure, the ever expanding horizons of knowledge and education.
