DAV public school ?Manali started very humbly in a shed in 1982 with a meager strength of 36 students only. It got affiliation with H.P.Board of School Education, Dharamshala in the year 2000.Now it is upgraded to Senior Secondary level w.e.f 01-04-2016.

Over the years, the school has evolved as an epitome of knowledge, skills, tradition, manners and values. Judging by the young adults who have passed from its portals and have spread their wings in varied fields, today DAV public school can claim a measure of success in its endeavor. DAV public School Manali has produced so far efficient doctors, engineers, teachers, lawyer and ultranationalist for this valley.

At present , the school is celebrating the years of hard work with strength of 1156 students .The school is well furnished with spacious classrooms, high tech computer lab, well stocked library, specially designed and fully equipped science laboratory ,motivational music and dance room, sports facilities ,canteen and CCTV camera surveillance.
