DESCRIPTION :

Established in  July 2000, Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC Chamera-II is located at NHPC Residential Complex on the bank of Ravi River at Karian,about 5km away from Chamba City.Started with a nominal strength of 71 students in the year 2000 the Vidyalaya has grown much in size,stature and strength gradually.

At present the Vidyalaya has a Staff of 32 including 1-Principal, 7-PGTs, 5-TGTs, 6-PRTs, 5-Misc.Teachers, 1-UDC, 1-LDC,     3 Lab.Attendants and 3 'Sub-Staff'. The Vidyalaya has its own well-designed beautiful and nicely maintained double storey building and well established Games & Sports complex and Children Park and fully equipped modernized Science and Computer Laboratories.The Vidyalaya is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education,New Delhi and facilitates the study up to XII Standard with Science Stream.
