In April 1988, the Kirpal Sagar Academy was inaugurated with the aim to provide scholarship to the less privileged students . The Academy started with several elementary classes having 117 children and was extended by and by. At present , it  has an enrolment of more than 700 students ranging from3 to eighteen years of age. The Kirpal Sagar Academy is a state approved private school which is affiliated to CBSE. It is a co-educational boarding school, but has the facility for day-scholars as well.
