In action since 1974, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Chandimandir Cantt has progressed remarkably over the years to keep pace with the working ethos and educational environment of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan . It has the privilege to serve the children of the defence personnel of the western command Headquarters in Chandimandir Cantonment
