Jawahar School had a humble beginning in the year 1962 with 50 Students and 5 Teachers under the leadership of Mrs.Web. The school was inaugurated for the K.G. Kids. In the beginning the school functioned under the CBSE stream. The strength increased day by day and the students brought name and fame to the institution. Jawahar took a proud place in the educational map of India. The Honourable Principals and Staff rendered herculean task to spread the glory of the institution.
In the year 1981, the Matric Scheme was introduced. The strength enhanced and resulted in bifurcating into CBSE and Matriculation in the year 1991.
