Sri Ram Dayal Khemka Vivekananda Vidyalaya Junior College is one among the schools established by the Vivekananda Educational Society in Thiruvottriyur. The main basic objective of the school is to provide man-making education as propounded by Swami Vivekananda. The objective includes Patriotism, love of God, Talent development, Spiritual development, Physical development and Intellectual development.

The school is well established with all state-of-the-art infrastructural facilities. The school owns its modern palatial building on 28 grounds with a student enrolment of 3262 and a staff strength of 107.

True to Swami Vivekananda?s adage ?Expansion is life?, the school has started its first child school at Annai Sivagami Nagar in 1998, at Jothi Nagar in 2009 and its second child school Madanlal Khemani Vivekananda Vidyalaya at Gummidipoondi in 2002.
