Nestling between the snowy peaks and turbulent river Teesta, Kalimpong is the quintessence of West Bengal. At this idyllic setting Saptashri was born in the year 1993 ? anembodiment of dreams, as it were, of personalities like Dr. Paras Mani Pradhan and Shri Madan Kumar Pradhan. Seen from any vantage point and set against the sweeping landscape ofrustling bamboo grooves and cooing pine trees, Saptashri enjoys a salubrious climate throughout the year and offers ample opportunities to its pupils in enriching the wide spectrum of their learning experiences from third standard upwards. The Nursery and primary wing of the school is called Toddlers Preparatory est. 1968 ? and caters to little children upto second standard.

It is a co-educational (English Medium) school and follows the I.C.S.E, Delhi Council curriculum. It is now a full-fledged higher secondary school upto ISC (+2 Commerce, Science and Humanities). Apart from academic pursuits, the school aims to inculcate seven salient virtues like Industry, Discipline, Truthfulness, Courtesy, Endurance, Obedience and Self efficiency. Imbued with the love of their school and inspired by the ideals set forth by their teachers, the children are expected to blossom out into good human beings and ideal citizens in the congenial at o sphere of untrammeled freedom, fellow ? feeling and mutual understanding. In consequence to the constant effort of the school authorities, now we have spacious rooms, a well ? equipped computer room with internet facility, a good library and a laboratory with an improvised gas-plant. Facilities for outdoor games have been made available. The senior students are also encouraged to visit places of industrial and historical importance and go one co-tours to the neighboring areas.
