Established in the year 2010 29th July, amidst the Scenic lash green surroundings of NIT Jirania Campus, K.V. NIT Agartala is a dream come true of the authorities of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, NIT Agartala and the local people of this region.

Currently running inside the NIT building, accommodating students coming from different sections of society by strictly following the admission procedure, the school is actually a miniature India, including in its students the feelings of patriotism, fraternity and national integration.

This single section school is having classes up to Vth standard. Believing in the immense potentialities of the students, the school provides ample opportunities to involve themselves in various sports, yoga, physical exercise, cultural and literacy activities and make the students bring out their latent talents.
The students are guided by well trawined and experienced staff members to develop sound mind in the sound body of each child. The staff is regularly trained by in-service courses, orkshops and induction courses to equip themselves with latest educational technologies, methodologies and technics.
