DAV Public School, MCL, Samaleswari Open Cast Project, Hilltop Colony, Brajrajnagar, Dist:- Jharsuguda (Odisha)is a premier institution under the patronage of MCL with classes from LKG to Secondary level. We started our sacred mission with 20 students in the year 1998.
The present student strength is 650 and they are guided by 32 teachers and 09 administrative staff. The school has achieved cent percent result in Class-X conducted by the CBSE and Class- VIII DAV education Board in the academic session 2010-11 and 2011-12 with 17 students secured more than 90% in Class-X-Board Exam. This is a glorious manifestation of incessant striving and concerted efforts of the entire teaching fraternity of DAV Samaleswari Open Cast Project, Hilltop Colony, Brajrajnagar, Dist:- Jharsuguda (Odisha).

 The school organizes exhibitions in Science, Art & Craft, Literature and Social Science every year on the eve of Children's Day. On these occasions, the school has been visited by eminent personalities and experts from different fields and students of neighbouring schools.
