DAV Public School NTPC, Talcher Thermal located in the district of Angul and within the industrial premises of National Thermal Power Corporation (A Govt. of India Undertaking) stands as the prominent project school of the District with its easy access to train and bus transport system. The school took its birth on June ,1996 with 4 classes viz., LKG to Std-II and now has grown to a full fledged form with Primary, Middle, Secondary & Senior Secondary Wings. The school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi with Affiliation No.1530074 and under the able administration and management of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi. It is a purely co-educational school which instills the notion of holistic growth of the children and joins the DAV revolution for the years to come and speaks proudly for the eternal flow of Vedic Culture into the mainstream of the education.
