Kendriya Vidyalaya, EAC Upper Shillong

DESCRIPTION :

Kendriya Vidyalaya Eastern Air Command was established on 1st February 1966 under the able leadership of Shri P.C.Jain who was the first principal of the Vidyalaya.
Important milestones of growthThe Vidyalya was declared a ?Model School? in the year 1994 and a ?Smart School? in the year 1997.
Gradual year wise expansion in classes and sections leading to present statusThere was only one section of each class in 1966 from class VI to XI . In 1968 Primary section from class I to V started. Subsquently classes in two sections and three section started. At present three sections in each class are running.

Facilities available including games and sports facilities.KV EAC Upper Shillong gives a very high level of importance to the all round development of the children of the Vidyalaya.There are facilities in the Vidyalaya (Shared with EAC) for all important sports and games activities.A separate ground for further facilities has developed.
