DESCRIPTION :

Since its inception in 1965 , the Kendriya Vidyalayas ( Central schools ) have come to be known as centres of excellence in the field of secondary and senior secondary education promoting national integration and a sense of Indianess among the children while ensuring their total personality development and academic excellence.

According to a Brand Equity (BE) survey of top 50 brands of India, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has maintained its position as the top brand in the education sector in India, pushing down Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), NIIT, Delhi Public School (DPS), Sainik Schools and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM)

 The school is presently running in a temporary building at Govt. Higher Secondary School,Mulankadakam, West Kollam , given by the sponsoring agency in pursuance of the sanction accorded by the Govt. of India conveyed by Ministry  which was officially inaugurated by the Hon'ble MP of Kollam constituency Mr. P Rajendran on 06.8.2007
