St. Robert +2 High School, Hazaribag is a Jesuit school in Hazribag, Jharkhand, India. It is a minority Educational Institution, established and administered by members of the Society of Jesuit Fathers of the Hazaribag Province. The education is imparted in the school in a friendly atmosphere so that a child may have all round development that is intellectually sound & mentally aware, physically strong, spiritually confident , and socially serviceable. Thus we aim to help students become a good citizens of India and of the world. The elements of aim of Jesuit education is to help a student become competitive in the modern world, to develop right conscience, to become compassionate for service of the needy people.
The Primary Objective of the School is to provide courses of study form class 7 to Plus two Level to deserving students. Particularly those who come from educationally under privileged groups eg SC,ST,OBC etc. and minor tribes. The preference during admission is given to the local students. The meritorious students from other districts as well as students from all religion and groups are welcome to study in the school. They are considered strictly on merit basis and according to the seats available. We have classes from 7 to 10 for boys only and +2 is for both boys and girls.
St. Robert High School Hazaribag was established in the year 1972. It was recognized and aided by the State Government since 01:01:1978. Because of the need of the hour St. Robert Inter College was started in the campus in 2005 . And in the year 2011, St. Robert?s High School was upgraded to Plus Two School by the Order of the Director of Secondary Education Ranchi (Jharkhand). With this new order the name ?Inter College? disappeared. Now the school is known as St. Robert +2 High School, Hazaribag. The School follows the guide line and curriculum directed by H.R.D. Department Ranchi (Jharkhand).
