DAV Public School, S.E.C.L. Pandavpara,  a CBSE affiliated Senior Secondary school, set amidst the lush ? green environment of Baikunthpur Area  turned a new leaf and started imparting education in English Medium from 8th August 2008. As per the agreement between DAV College Managing Committee , New Delhi and South Eastern Coal Fields Limited, the school structure is a composite co-educational Senior Secondary School from class L.K.G. to class XII on Public School lines in a phased manner. The School is directly governed and controlled by DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi. However the day-to-day management of school including financial control vests with the Local Managing Committee. Presently the school is running in a vast campus with 28 sections having a student strength of 1100 & staff strength of 50.

            The school has been very efficiently guided by the Regional Directors of MP-CG Zone of DAV  Organization & is continuously upgrading itself to achieve all round perfection.
