Kendriya Vidyalaya, Masimpur was started in 1974 with less than100 students and one section each of classes I to V. Today it has grown to serve about 1000(approx) students in classes I to XII with the help of 43 experienced teachers. There are two sections each in classes I to X and one section each in classes XI and XII (Science, Commerce & Humanities). It was functioning in a temporary accommodation; the school is now functioning in its own new beautiful, spacious complex.
