St Francis De Sales School, Narengi

St. Francis De Sales school or SFS school, Narengi as it is known in abbreviation today is a realization of the great vision and hard work of many especially the then MSFS Provincial Fr. George Parampukattil and Fr. Jose Thekkel, the then Bursar of the Province. The school was established in Jan 1998, with Fr. Tomy Thekkel as the first Headmaster and 72 students on the roll. Coca-Cola bottling plant was situated in the place when the land was purchased. Initially therefore the school was housed in the same building and so much so the people of the locality called it Coca-Cola School. The Headmaster along with the small team of staff had to struggle hard to bring up the school in its early days. The support and collaboration that the school received from its very inception through the Sisters of the Congregation of Maestre Pie Venerini is to be greatly acknowledged.
