Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC Rajahmundry

DESCRIPTION :

Kendriya Vidyalaya,ONGC,Rajahmundry, (founded in 1992) being a project school, admits children of sponsoring agency(ONGC),  other transferable Central & State Government employees and others in classes I to XII (+2 classes). It caters not only to the educational needs but also the cultural and emotional needs of the students.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, ONGC, Rajahmundry was started on 14th February 1992 in a rented building sponsored by ONGC near Tilak Road, Rajahmundry. It was started with classes I to V (only primary).Sri BMN Rao was the Chairman and Sri PVR Sharma was the Principal at the time of its inception.

Gradually over the years it increased class by class and reached the current status of  Class XII during the academic year 1998-99.

On 24th August 1995, the school had a new campus constructed by ONGC in the ONGC Base Complex near Lalacheruvu, NH-5,Rajahmundry.
