S.G. Public School has been  founded by Mr. Arun Kumar Agrawal, a business personality and social worker and Mrs. Uma Agrawal (Chairman) to ensure education for the boys and girls of all communities of India, to enable them to progress in a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere.

Since inception it has developed rapidly to become the centre of modern and traditional value based education in Mughalsarai Distt. Chandauli (U.P.)

The School is situated in a peaceful, pleasant and pollution free atmosphere to impart integrated education to the children for their natural, harmonious and progressive development . It is an ideal institution for the physical, mental and moral development of children. The Institution is run by Shanti Gopal Shikshan Sansthan a registered trust. Due to the untiring efforts of Shri Arun Kumar Agrawal, today it has become one of the best co-educational Sr. Secondary School affiliated to C.B.S.E. (Central Board of Secondary Education) New Delhi. Affiliation No. 2130526.

The medium of education is English, the course selected are prescribed by Education Department and C.B.S.E. board. The School encourages constructive co-curricular activities such as sports, scientific, literary and other cultural activities.

The school also organizes educational tours, camps and midterm trips to gain education beyond the classroom.
