Bhavan's Kesari Devi Kanoria Vidya Mandir, Renukoot, a co-educational institution, housed in an imposing three storeyed building with library in a hexagonal spacious building, is founded by the veteran industrialist Mr. S.S. Kanoria after the name of his beloved late mother Smt. Kesari Devi Kanoria in the remote area of eastern Uttar Pradesh in association with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai, in the premises of M/s. Kanoria Chemicals and Industries Limited, Uttar Pradesh. It is surrounded by lush greenery and sylvan beauty, catering to a quality education since 1984, from Kindergarten to Class XII level in Science and Commerce Streams. Admissions are being regulated as per the procedures of Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.

On the 23rd May, 2011, M/s. Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Ltd., Renukoot has been taken over by M/s. Aditya Birla Chemicals (India) Ltd., and presently known as Grasim Industries Ltd. (Chemical Division).

A Science Block consisting separately four laboratories of Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with two classrooms adds to the beauty of the existing school building imparting an effective teaching in the vicinity of itself. As on date the school is imparting education to 1332 students in the guidance of 42 teachers in all. Our school is an English medium Co-educational Senior Secondary (10+2) institution affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.

The School with aim of promoting multi-dimensional talent of children who hail from different socio-economic background, categorises them into three groups viz the Junior Group (Class III to V), the Middle Group (Class VI to VIII) and the Senior Group (Class IX to XII). Each group is further divided into four houses namely Abhimanyu House, Bharat House, Dhruva House and Prahlad House. The students not only participate in campus programmes but also in out-door events organized by C.B.S.E. and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan at different places in India. Literary and Athletic Meet and National Integration Camps are being participated every year. To promote democratic leadership among children the School has a ?Mini Parliament? of office bearers in the school including the School Captain, School Vice-Captains, Literary Head, Sports Head, Discipline Head and House Captains. The School starts with the morning assembly managed by the House on duty on the day during the week. Prayer, Thoughts, News, Speech, Recitation, Patriotic Song etc. are the main events during the assembly.
