The school is situated in the lush green picturesque valley of eastern Uttar Pradesh. Hindalco Primary School Unit-3 was established as Montessori School in 1964 under the aegis of Hindalco Industries Ltd. It is Co ? Ed Hindi Medium Primary School. It is situated in Renukoot 180 Kms from Varanasi airport. This school was set up by Shri Sangram Singh Kothari the then President of Hindalco to fulfil the need of quality education for the children of Hindalco employees and others of surrounding locality.

?	Hindalco Primary School Unit III has an affiliation of State Board Curriculum of Uttar Pradesh (B.S.A).
?	The School laid its foundation in 1964 with a nursery Section of 40 students and 4 teachers at inception. In the year 2000, it   was re- christened as HPS-3.The school has completed 50 years of its existence in the year 2014.
?	The Primary section was added in1968 and over the years, the strength of students gradually increased. In 2001, one   section of Play Groups added. The School was also converted into a double shift School. The first shift has the Kindergarten   section and the second shift has the Primary Section.
?	Presently the ratio of students to teachers is 666:25.
?	We have a team of well qualified teachers, who are dedicated to bring out the potential of students in a conductive    environment.
