DESCRIPTION :

Sherwood School, Tura is a full fledged private, unaided recognized school under
the Sherwood School Educational Society. It is affiliated to the Meghalaya Board of
School Education. The School is open to all creeds of society. It aims at achieving a high
standard of excellence both academic and moral.
The School has a managing committee consisting of a President, Secretary
(Headmaster), Joint Secretary (Administrator), two (2) teacher representatives and four (4)
Nominated members and 2 parent representatives to help in the smooth running of the
school.
The primary aim of the teaching faculty of SHERWOOD SCHOOL is the moral
development of pupils thereby molding them into morally responsible citizens.
